CFA Yearbook - 2008

The 2008 CFA Yearbook will cover events of the 2007-2008 show season and will once again be organized by breed - an exciting change that made its debut in the 2005 Yearbook!

The breeds appear in alphabetical order, each with their own introduction written by the breed council secretary or breed committee chair. All official CFA breed/division and color awards, top ten listings, DMs, grands and advertisements for each breed are published together in the same section, making it easy for readers to locate catteries and clubs working with their chosen breed.

You are invited to advertise in the 2008 CFA Yearbook. We have kept our advertising rates low again this year, and the 2008 Yearbook offers an ad size and type to fit everyone's budget.

Don't know how to design your ad? Let us do it for you! Simply send us your order form and payment along with your cat's picture, and tell us what you want the ad to say. We will take it from there and design a professional, eye-catching ad just for you.

Please note that the advertising deadline for the 2008 Yearbook has been extended to August 17, 2007. We once again expect a great turnout of advertisers for the new Yearbook, so don't risk being excluded. Send in your ad today! If you have any questions, please email yearbook@cfa.org.

Advertising Rates - Shared Ads

Installment Payment Plan Policy

1. The installment payment plan is available to advertisers who place an ad costing $200.00 or more in the Yearbook. Half page black and white ads, quarter page ads and business card ads are not eligible for the payment plan.
2. The ad must be paid for using a credit card.
3. Three (3) equal payments will be billed to the advertiser's credit card over a period of three (3) months.
4. There will be a $3.00 CFA service charge applied to each payment.
5. The first payment is due at the time the ad is submitted.
6. To take advantage of the installment plan, advertisers need simply write "Installment Plan" on their Yearbook ad order forms.
7. Declined payments will result in an additional $15.00 CFA service charge per decline.

Ad and Photo Sizes

• We suggest you limit the number of photos in your ad.
• Simple ads are easier to read than ads with too many photos or words.
• Please follow instructions on the layout forms to avoid problems.
• Be sure to send the correct size photo and camera ready text, if your cattery name or logo must be in a specific typeface.
• Due to our tight production schedule it is imperative that you send the correct ad components which will ensure that you are satisfied with your ad.

Advertising Deadline

The deadline for receipt of advertising has been extended to August 17, 2007- or - when we reach our ad quota. Ads are accepted on a first come, first served basis. Send your ad in early -- placement is based on order received.

Pages may be reserved by sending a completed advertising order form and payment. All remaining materials, including photos, for reserved pages must be received by the extended deadline of August 17, 2007, or placement will be forfeited. Failure to receive a photo from a photographer does not relieve this obligation.

Layout packages were mailed in May, 2007!

If you have not received your mailed package by early June, and prefer a mailed package, please request a 2008 CFA Yearbook advertising package, including layout sheets, by emailing your name and full postal mailing address to yearbook@cfa.org.
